Piña colada

Nothing beats an ice cold beverage on a hot summer day. The piña colada is a tropical drink made of a delicious combo of pineapple and coconut, and this recipe calls for ingredients that pack a ton of flavor.
Ingredients
- 6 ounces white rum
- 6 ounces cream of coconut (preferably Coco Lopez brand)
- 6 ounces pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 4 cups ice
- 4 ounces golden or añejo rum
- pineapple wedges for garnish, optional
Note: This recipe can be made without alcohol! Simply increase the total amount of pineapple juice to 12 oounces and coconut cream to 10 ounces.
Steps
- Place all ingredients into a blender.
- Blend all ingredients thoroughly.
- Pour into glasses, and garnish with pineapple. Serve immediately and enjoy!
